Buyer's Solicitor Guidance Notes

It is important that legal advisors know how Lot37 works. For more information see 'How it works' or view our demo' .
The following is meant to be a brief guide to assist you in acting on behalf of your client in buying their property through Lot37.

1. The marketing period for a typical on-line auction property is 30 days, and hopefully your client will have contacted you in good time to enable you to carry out any pre-contract enquiries you may require.

2. You may obtain a legal pack from the Seller's solicitors, details of whom will appear on this website, within the Estate Agent's property particulars. This will include the Auction Contract .

3. In order for your client to bid, they must first register as a bidder. See 'Register to bid'

4. Upon being notified that their bid has been successful your client will have 30 days to exchange the transaction.

Any legal Queries can be emailed to our legal team, please email us at dean@dunhamlaw.co.uk.
Please note that Lot37 do not at any time handle any client monies during these transactions.
